I might as well make it official.

I’m entering my last semester of school. With the capstone courses (game group project and portfolio) both occuring in the same semester, I can expect to have little free time. Add to that working a full-time job in the entertainment industry, and my free time dwindles even more. Something has got to give, and unfortunately it looks like that something is going to be drawing ponies.

After school lets out in May, I will look at my free-time situation again. If you are one of the few who have an outstanding commission from me, don’t worry, I’m still going to get that done.

I hit 10,000 followers last Friday! Thanks, everyone! Thanks to everyone who submitted their lyrics! I received over 50 entries.

I will be looking over all of these in the coming week to determine the winners.

The Submit box is going to open up shortly for a little contest.

I’m looking for some writers to parody Freeze Ray from Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, to be performed by Dr. Adorable. The best submission will be performed and featured here! Two runners-up will receive a free art commission (subject matter subject to my approval).

A few things to keep in mind:

• I’m not 100% sold on it being a freeze ray. If you think something else works better, give it a shot!
• Ponies don’t normally wear clothes. So, it doesn’t have to be laundry day. Be creative!
• Since this blog is meant to be a parody of Dr. Horrible, the meaning of the song should probably be somewhere in the neighborhood of the original, with Dr. Adorable being the singer (as mentioned above) and Rainbow Dash the object of her interest.
• I reserve the right to make minor adjustments to the winning lyrics, if needed to make it easier to sing or to fit the story.

You have until Saturday, March 24, at midnight Central Daylight Time to send in your lyrics!
